Our mission is to end intermediary dependency in hospitality. Every hotel, game reserve, and boutique property that relies on Booking.com, Expedia, or third-party platforms to reach their guests has handed over their most valuable asset — the direct relationship. 01 How It Began

SmartGuest was built during COVID-19. With tourism at a standstill and the hospitality industry in crisis, the Digiterra team made a decision: use the downtime to build something that would matter when the world reopened. That project became SmartGuest — a platform designed from the ground up to give hospitality providers back the guest relationship that intermediaries had been slowly taking from them.

02 What We Are Today

SmartGuest is now a full guest experience platform used by properties across South Africa and expanding into Europe. Currently live at a 5-star luxury game reserve within one of Africa's largest hotel groups, SmartGuest powers the entire guest journey — from pre-arrival through to post-stay loyalty — under the property's own brand.
